We are Windmill Community Gardens Margate, a thriving community garden and market garden located in Dane Valley, Margate. We were established in 2004, when a group of local families requested €œSomewhere safe to grow food with their children €, and that is when we transformed the then derelict wasteland into the now well established Community Garden, our Market Garden (located behind Drapers Mill Primary School) was converted in 2008.
